This under counter spice drawer/rack will hold 16 bottles of your most used spices, and is both compact and convenient. Can be opened with one hand by pulling the front toward you 1/4 inch, and then allowing the drawer to both drop down and slide out on ball bearing drawer slides. The drawer is held in place with magnets. Pulling the drawer front slides the metal clip off the magnets and allows the drawer to drop. There are stops on both sides that stop the drawer at about 40 degrees. To replace drawer, simply retract the slides completely and then swing up until drawer contacts magnets. See the video. This spice drawer is designed to fit in the recess on the bottom of most wall cabinets. The outside dimensions of the spice are as follows: the width is 19 & 1/2 Inches, the depth is 10 & 1/8 inches and the height is 2 & 1/2 inches. You must have 10 & 1/2 inches clearance front to back in the recess under the cabinet for the drawer to fit properly. However, this drawer will also work on cabinets with a non-recessed bottom. This type of installation will reduce cabinet to countertop space by about 3/4 inch more. We have tried to make installation as simple as possible. You will need to drill 4 holes in the bottom of the cabinet to fasten drawer with included screws. A template is included to make sure to get holes drilled correctly. The same template that is included is also the one we used to locate the screw holes on the mounting bracket. The holes in the mounting bracket are tapered to help line them up. Additional instructions are included with each product. Because of the difficulty in matching stain or color for your cabinets, we offer both a maple unfinished drawer for painting, and a red oak unfinished drawer for staining. We do not do any painting, but stained and varnished red oak drawers are available in any available semi-transparent Min-Wax stain. The stain color in example is Min-Wax Provincial. An additional charge of $35.00 is added for finishing. Please allow an additional 10 days for custom finish. Do not list a stain color if you are ordering an unfinished drawer. If you want this option, make sure to include the color of choice. If it is no longer available locally, we will contact you with other suggestions.
